We miss you!!!!!
Starting April 1st, because we miss you all during Covid-19 coronavirus Stay at Home, we want to still keep in touch with our girl members, their parents, donors and our volunteers, so we are moving digital and hosting weekly Facebook #NCPowerGirl Online Learning series!!
These online learning series maybe LIVE or pre-recorded and will give parents and our girl members (and their siblings) some fun and educational activities, tips, projects, crafts, or academic lessons to enjoy while you are home with your families. Since we are missing our signature Girl's Night Outs, Workshops and as we lead up to Summer Camp, these videos will help us fill that gap as we get ready for this Virus to be over and enjoy Summer Camp starting June 15th. Some of these activites will give you a taste of what's to come with our Annual Summer Camp curriculum!
We are seeking volunteers to host these every week, so email with your interest and topic. Don't have a topic? If you have the will, we can you help with our curriculum.
ALL PHYSICAL EVENTS ARE POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19

Empowered Girls of North Carolina exists to empower girls to become responsible, self-reliant, confident girls with respect for self and others. Girls receiving these messages are more likely to stay in school, excel and become active, productive citizens in their respective communities.
We have one goal in mind: to empower girls and instill confidence through safe and positive programming and environment.
Join us for the 2021 VIRTUAL Human Race to raise funds for our 2021 Summer Camp. We appreciate your support in doing that.
Love to run/walk? Join our race fundraiser or donate!
OTHER WORKSHOPS WE OFFER
Please email if you are interested in us hosting a workshop for your organization.
A Project of Her Story Girls write about their lives from the earliest age they can remember. They can write about themselves with other people as well. Girls can write something funny, scary, happy, sad etc. Girls are then broken into small groups and using a pre-drawn paper doll create one girl with several traits of each girl in the group. They give her a name, it’s fun to present their new girl to the class.
No More Mean Girls
Bullying comes in a different way for girls, sometime very subtle and sometimes very obvious. This workshop teaches girls what a bully really is. We teach how not to be a bully and how to handle bullying.
Year in Pictures - Scrap booking
Girls bring pictures as well as draw and use clip art and write about their school and family. They create posters that they can take home to commemorate their experiences.
